We are all familiar with the most popular computer video games consoles currently available in the stores. We make comparisons between the three systems and we only think in terms of the graphics capability but we should look at how they are operated using the games controllers provided in the budle you buy.

You probably don’t think much about the importance of the controllers you use but the manufacturers spend a lot of time on design and we usually just use them without thinking. The original Xbox was released in 2001 and the controller that came as part of the bundle supplied is known as the duke controller.

Unfortunately for Microsoft customers found the controller supplied was just too big so they didn’t enjoy playing the Xbox so much. Realizing the problem they released the Controller S a model that is very similar to the one now used in the Xbox 360.

The talk is that people just didn’t like it so much as the one we had been using for years on the PS2. That may have been a good decision though there will be many sleepless nights getting ready for the replacement system.

All he has to do is wait for the Incredible Hulk to calm down, revert to his human self, and the Master Chief can jump in for the kill.  Now the record is even at 1-1-1.

Could Coach Ditka beat Master Chief? If his knees are healthy Coach Ditka may as well have the advantage of every one of the Halo 3 cheats ever created.  Bad knees mean Ditka might work up a sweat. But in the end coach Ditka wipes the floor with super soldier Master Chief.

Recently while searching the Internet for information on the Halo 3 weapon cheat, I came across a number of what-if scenarios – what if Master Chief took on different famous characters from movies, comic books, and legend?  Here’s what would happen.

It’s not a Halo 3 weapon cheat but it’s a great battle, Robocop versus the Master Chief.  They have strengths in common such as great armor, and a great deal of experience.  A lot of people said Master Chief would wipe the floor with Robocop.  Let’s face facts, Master chief can be defeated with a pistol, whereas Robocop kept on going after being blown up at a gas station. A Halo 3 weapon cheat looks pretty good to Master Chief from his position at 0-2.  But let’s give him another chance  – this time Master Chief versus Terminator.  We already know Master Chief’s strengths, the terminator’s consist of an ability to master every weapon, relentless willpower, doesn’t get tired, amazing focus to kill his target, and the skill with systematic elimination.  It all comes down to the Spartan laser. In the Terminator TV series we’ve seen what an energy weapon can do to a Terminator. 

One more battle before Master Chief finds his Halo 3 weapon cheat.  What can he do against Boba Fett from Star Wars?  Boba Fett may have his own jet pack, but he can’t regenerate like Master Chief can.  Some people give the nod to the bounty hunter, but Master Chief simply has too many weapons. Everyone knows that buying a video game is not cheap. At around £40 each for the standard version, plus extra for the limited edition, making games last as long as possible is very important. This is where downloadable content comes into play. Many game creators are releasing new content for your favorite games that you simply buy and download off the various console networks. Here are just a few to be aware of it you are continuously looking at your games looking for something new.

If you are a hardcore Halo fan and can’t get enough of the multiplayer but the maps are getting boring, maybe it’s time for you to buy some of the multiplayer maps that you can buy off the Xbox 360 Marketplace. There are currently 3 downloadable packs with new maps, there is the Cold Storage Map which is a single map and this one is free, then there is the Heroic Map Pack and the Legendary Map Pack which both cost 800 Microsoft Points. Both of the packs that cost 800 MS points come with some brand new achievements for you to unlock. However, if you already have these, then you’ll be pleased to know that there is a brand new pack coming out on April 9th which yet again will cost 800 MS points.

Similar to Halo 3, the creators of the amazing game Gears of War 2 have released a series of multiplayer maps available for download. Gears of War 2 has 3 different map packs on the Marketplace and the first is the Flashback Multiplayer Map pack which contains 5 new maps for you to fight across, all for a small fee of 400 MS points. The next 2 packs both cost 800 MS points each and they are the Combustible Multiplayer Map Pack which comes with 3 maps and the recently released Snowblind Multiplayer Map Pack.

If first person shooter games are not really your thing, then how about some extra content for the best skating game out there, Skate 2. There are 5 content packs available on the Xbox 360 Marketplace and they include things from new areas to new film features. First there is the San Van Classic Pack which allows you to skate in 3 areas from the first game, there is also some new achievements to unlock in each of these areas, this pack will cost you 800 MS points. The next pack is the Drydek’s Fantasy Plaza Pack, this one will cost you 400 MS points and it allows you to skate around the inspiration for Rob Drydek’s Fantasy Factory show. The last few packs don’t contain any new maps, however, they do add new features and items to the game. The first one being the Filmer Pack, this costs 600 MS points and allows you to update the film feature with new angles, views and add some extra finishing touches to make your movies even better. If you fancy changing the look of your skate then this next pack is for you, it’s called the Throwback Pack and it’s free, so no reason not to get it and it basically comes with new apparel for your skater. The final pack in the group is the Time is Money Pack which is mainly for the lazy gamers, for 400 MS points, this pack allows you to unlock all areas, skaters and gear from the career.

Almost at the end of the post here, but not quite yet. The next game is Mirror’s Edge, so if you love running across the tops of buildings while being timed, then this pack is just for you. It’s called the Pure Time Trials Pack and will costs you 800 MS points, and what you get for your money is 9 new time trials across 7 whole new areas, there are no cops and no guns to slow you down, just pure agility maps that push you to the limit and get you playing at your best. Once again, there are a range of new achievements available for this pack.

The last game is the list is going to be the huge hit, Fallout 3. This has 2 new packs that extend the games campaign and allows you to fight new foes with new weapons in new areas. Both of these packs cost 800 MS points, the first one is The Pitt, this one requires you to travel to Pittsburgh, now called The Pitt, and uncover the secret that has caused the people of The Pitt to be attacked by disease and mutation. The second pack is the Operation: Anchorage pack which takes you into the military campaign where you have to fight against Chinese Communist Invaders, but you can leave your old weapons behind as you can get your hands on some of the new gear available like the Gauss Rifle.
