Apples To Apples The Fun Game

{Apples} to {apples} is {one} of the most {fun games} that I have ever {tried}, and it is essential for a party nowadays.
If you have never played the {game apples} to apples, you do not know what you are {missing}. Except for a few people who I have met who seem to be {allergic} to apples to apples, almost everyone else who has tried it has {really} and {truly fell} in love with the game, and that is a {fact}. {Basically} the way that it works is that everyone takes a {card} with a word on it. Then, someone throws down a card with the name of a topic written on it, such as {tragedies} or the 80′s. Then, everyone gets to throw down a card from their hand. The {person} whose turn it is gets a {chance} to vote on which one is the very {best answer}, and that one wins. It is {quite simple}, but such fun that you will not believe your {eyes}.

{One} of the {cool} things about apples to apples is that there are a lot of {expansion} packs available. That way, when you get sick of the cards that came with it, you can go and get the expansion pack, and make the game even better. Apples to apples expansion sets {really} do make the game a whole lot better than it is without them, and then you get to have a {board game} that {actually} keeps on growing along with your interest in it. It certainly is a good deal all around, if you ask me.

Of course, the {down side} of apples to apples is that it is no {fun} on your own, or even with a {small group} of people. If you do not have a whole party in there playing apples to apples, there {really} is no {point} to it. It only has that {hysterical} {element} of fun to it when you get the whole gang together, {laughing} and {joking} around. Without this touch, it is just not as much of a joy as it can be otherwise, and that is a {fact}. But if you do have a coming up, and you have no idea of what party games to play, I would recommend trying out apples to apples. It has always worked at {my parties}, although not everyone seems to like it.

PSP Go is my favorite Gadget

The Sony PSPgo is an interesting device. It would appear to many that this hardware revision seems to have taken one step forward (sleeker design, bluetooth capability, built-in memory) and two steps back (no UMD drive, price, purchases tied to the PSN Store). I’m here to say: I love my PSPgo.

First, a little bit of my background: I was an original adopter of the PSP-1000 system. I love the PSP platform and feel as though the hardware itself as well as many of the platform’s games are severely unappreciated.

I want to provide some commentary for what kind of customers might be looking into purchasing a PSPgo:

1) The Gadget Geek

It’s obvious, even from the customer images and official product images, that the PSPgo is one slimmed-down, sexy device. If you’re into gadgets, the PSPgo will not disappoint: this is a much more portable, sleeker device than the PSP 1000 / 3000 systems. This handheld will fit where the old PSPs won’t, that’s for sure. The sliding-open of the controls is addicting; it mimics many of the cell phones that have this kind of mechanism.

2) Someone who is looking into purchasing their first PSP system

It’s a tough call to truly recommend the PSPgo for those who are looking into purchasing this as their first PSP system. Personally, I would. Many probably wouldn’t. As of right now, the PSN Store does not have all of the best PSP games available to download. However, they do have a fantastic current selection that includes Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2, LocoRoco 2 and more. As of today, they do not have several fantastic games on the PSN Store (Dissidia and Crisis Core, to name a couple). I can only assume, in time, these will be available.

The other consideration is buying used games at stores such as Gamestop. As a new PSP owner, you probably want to buy a lot of older games that you have yet to enjoy. These probably come in at fairly cheap used game prices at stores. If you have a PSPgo system, some of these prices are comparable; some are not.

If a first-time PSP owner does decide to purchase a PSPgo system, they don’t want to worry about purchasing additional memory right out of the game, which is a nice little bonus.

3) Someone who currently owns a PSP

If you have the financial means, I think purchasing a PSPgo to compliment your PSP 1000 / 3000 system is a great idea. This is the kind of customer I am. I was able to use Amazon’s video game trade-in program to knock the price down for the PSPgo system. I still have my PSP 1000 system around in case I want to play any of the games I have on UMD. And, not surprisingly (or maybe surprisingly for some), I have yet to have a hankering to go back and play any of the UMD games I own since owning a PSPgo. And I have some fantastic games on UMD that are not offered as a digital download currently on the PSN Store!

And I think this is where the PSPgo system gets a LOT of hate: the whole discussion about not being able to play any UMD games you may currently own. My thought on that is this: I think before owning a PSPgo, this might be a concern. But when you have one, you don’t have a drive to play any of your UMD games. I have plenty to play in terms of PSX / PSP games I’ve already downloaded and have downloaded since owning the system. I don’t know, maybe I’m just a special case or something.

Conclusion

I absolutely love my Sony PSPgo: it’s sexy, it’s incredibly portable and I love having a whole smattering of games available right there on my system. The price may be a tad bit high, but if you can swing it, you’ll love the PSPgo system. Since owning my PSPgo, I have not wanted to play any of my current UMD games on my old PSP system. There’s a lot of currently released titles on the PSN Store to satisfy my needs.

Prior to the opening of the territory and being allowed to travel to it, players have to collect 3 loot items from other areas of the game. Once the territory if open and ready players will have to choose which side they are going to join, the Yakuza or the Triads, both of which are organized crime syndicates in Japan. The side players choose will determine the jobs they do to progress in the game.

Loot Items Required
In order to be ready for the release of Bangkok, players must locate three loot items. Once these items are in their possession they will be given their passport to travel. The passport will not be sent to players until Bangkok opens for business. The loot items needed are:
* Triad Coin
* Yakuza Sake
* Thai Note
The jobs they can be looted from are:
* NY – Soldier
* NY – Enforcer
* NY – Hitman
Players can find the loot items by doing the jobs on these levels that are marked with a golden elephant. It may take several times doing the job to acquire the item but once it is acquired a notification displayed showing it has been added to the Bangkok list of necessary items.

Choosing Sides

Zynga offers little information on how to choose sides other than the message on the Bangkok home page statement concerning the fight for control of criminal markets of Thailand. To help choose sides, some background information on their behaviors and typical activities can be useful.

The Yakuza

The Yakuza’s origin in Japanese syndicated crime traces back to the 17th century. According to Miyuki Sundara of the Organized Crime Registry the Yakuza are an all male organized crime group. Their activities include blackmail, illegal gambling, casinos, prostitution and smuggling. These activities will be what the jobs in game play will be based upon.

The Triads

Originally the Triads started as a resistance to the Manchurian Emperor. According to the website Gangland.net their name comes from the unity of the Three Harmonies Society, the union of Heaven, Earth and Man. Criminal activities included counterfeiting money and later counterfeiting products such as watches and other pricey items, as technology advanced they added pornography and piracy.

Both the Triads and the Yakuza are powerful crime syndicates that control the underground world in Bangkok. Players in Facebook Mafia Wars can use these basic ideas on the groups to determine which side they want to join when they start Bangkok. To dominate the game get a guide , click here to get yours!!

How to Get the Most Ribbons in FarmVille

It’s pretty easy to earn a few ribbons in FarmVille. As you just go about your daily tasks, you’ll wind up accomplishing at least some of the early ribbon-worthy tasks. You may notice when you do win one though, that the bonuses they pay out are pretty hefty. You can actually earn a lot of money and experience points quickly if you collect as many ribbons as you can. This is relatively easy to do, but you do have to put some effort into it if you want to get as much as you can out of your FarmVille experience.

Know What You Need

You won’t be able to focus your energies on earning ribbons unless you know what you need to get them. You can find this information easily enough by clicking on the ribbon icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen. This will bring up a list of all of the possible ribbons and show you how you’re progressing in each category.

Pick One

You do have limited resources, particularly when you’re just starting out in FarmVille. Because of this, it’s a good idea to focus on one type of ribbon at a time. Of course, it’s likely that whatever you do to earn those ribbons will help you to earn some other ones as well, but you can focus on those when you get to them.

Which to Pick

Before you decide which set of ribbons to go after first, you should take a few moments to learn what each ribbon category is about. This way, you’ll be able to get a good sense of which ribbons to go for first. For example, the Tree Hugger ribbons require that you harvest fruit from a particular number of unique trees, meaning that to get these, you’ll have to have a variety of different types of trees on your farm.

The Knock on Wood ribbons can be earned by simply harvesting any type of tree a certain number of times. This means that if you focus on earning the Tree Hugger ribbons, you’ll automatically be making progress towards the Knock on Wood ribbons as well. The converse is not necessarily true because you could get the Knock on Wood ribbon for harvesting from only one kind of tree.

Get Some Neighbors

Neighbors help you get ribbons both directly and indirectly. There are ribbons for just having a certain number of neighbors, how many times you help your neighbors out, and how many different types of gifts you receive. All of these categories are easier to progress in the more neighbors you have, so don’t hesitate to hit up your friends and earn some ribbons that way too.

Must Read Product Review On Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation 3 And Xbox 360

The game are slugging it out for your {business}. console are down, options have been {introduced}, and all {manufacturers} can boast about their {library} of {game choices}. If you have been considering making a video, now will be a {good time}. But how do you decide which game console system is {best suited} for you and will meet the needs of your {family}? Will it be the Nintendo Wii, or perhaps the {Sony Playstation 3} or what do you think about the {Xbox 360}? The good new is that there are not hundred of choices that will make the process. Your decision will be easier after reading a few on what the latest gaming consoles on the {market} have to offer. In this {article} we will list some of their {features}, some of the {additional items} you will need to purchase and hope this {information} will assist you in your {selection}.

The {first system} on our list is the {new Micrsoft Xbox 360}. The Xbox is equipped with a powerful 60GB {hard drive}. Included with this purchase will be a {composite} and component cable,. The new Xbox 360 has {graphics} that are exceptional and the HD {experience} is awesome. If you are a {serious gamer} and will need muli-player capabilities you will need to purchase an {additional controller}. To bring this game system on as a {serious gamer}, you will need to get a network, subscribe to Xbox Live membership for online play and get a 120GB hard drive if you plan to {download games} and movies from the internet.

The Xbox does set the standard for what {online gaming} should be like. No other console comes close to the {online experience} the xbox has to offer. In addition, Xbox offers a {great library} of movies and as mentioned some extremely {good graphics}. The Xbox controller works best with all types of {action games}, {especially games} that require shooting skills like Halo 3 and all the games on the market today. The dreaded “Red Ring of Death” prevents this game system from being the top player on the market. If your system should fail and needs service, it unfortiunately could be weeks for the {replacement}. While there is a subscription fee of $60 a year for {online gaming}, it was just recently announced that any Xbox subscriber can now watch Netflix streaming movies on their console. One drawback is that there is no network or Blu-ray support preventing the Xbox 360 from serving as your entertainment hub.

The Sony Playstation 3 comes with a big, massive 80GB hard drive. They also include a {composite cable} and {one controller}. You will, if you want, need to get an {extra controller} for games. It is also suggested to get a component cable and a {Bluetooth headset} for voice. The Playstation 3 library offers a selection of games that include some hardcore action, and RPG”s. The Blu-ray disc is {excellent} for some {eye-popping movies} in HD and for larger games with more {content}. The Sony Playstation 3 can serve as your {entertainment} hub and will {supports MP3s}, DiVX, Bluetooth, movie downloads and game downloads. This system is the most {expensive console} of all game systems on the market.

The online game play is not nearly as good as the {Xbox}, in fact there is no {real comparison}. The {good news} for all owners of PS3 is that for only about $100 you can upgrade your {storage space} to a whopping 320GB, making this the ultimate {entertainment hub}.

Last but not least we can not forget about the Nintendo Wii. The Wii took the market by storm and will continue to rise in {popularity} well into next year. The Nintendo Wii comes with a {small internal drive}, but is expected to come out with a new {MotionPlus} attachment in early 2009 to give it more storage capability. Along with the game console you will get a composite cable, a {Wii remote}, a Wii Nunchuck and a pak with {Wii sports games}. You will however need to purchase a component cable, {additional Wii remotes} (perhaps 3) and nunchucks for {multi-player games} and a SD card for downloads. While the wii is less {expensive} than the other consoles, there are some obvious reasons. The game system is different than any of the others, graphics are not as good, storage space is {smaller}, in fact this system is meant to be different and appeal to a {wider audience} than the other systems. Nintendo Wii has taken a new approach to the
