How do you place downloaded psp games onto a PSP Slim N Lite?

I recently bought a PSP Slim N Lite and was wondering how I drop downloaded games onto the PSP.

Is it as simple as making an ISO file and drag and dropping the files into it?

Or do I need to make software adjustments?

You need to downgrade your PSP's firmware and install custom firmware. This is basically a software adjustment. However, if you bought the recent PSP-3000 model (newest Slim model), then you cannot downgrade as of now.

Video Game Consoles: The History

Do you recall the time when you need to go to the arcade and make use of tokens simply to play your favorite game? That was also the time when I would even miss classes just to go to arcades with my friends. Looking back to those times though evaluating how games are played nowadays really impressed me. As a gamer you’ll better appreciate the beauty of gaming if you will learn just a little bit more of the history of this famous form of entertainment today.

The video games came to life when Atari introduced their Atari 2600 in 1977. This is the first-ever video game console. At that time, this game system is extremely pricey and is being sold at $249 each, which is remarkably the same cost of the consoles we have at this time. The same year Nintendo launched their first console named TV Game 6 and Midway with their Space Invaders.

In 1980 a number of the classical games like Namco’s Pacman and Atari’s Asteroids were released. This is the time when everyone believed that gaming is at its summit, however things did not proceed as planned.

By 1994, massive manufacturing of poor cartridges created this market crash. A lot of game companies were forced to back out and only 3 providers were left standing still; Nintendo, Sega, and Atari, which was in a poor shape.

In 1995, Atari was not able to preserve its excellent standing and was forced to move out of the scene. This is also the time when Sony arise out of nowhere with the first-ever CD-based game console known as Playstation. So as to continue with the competition, Sega has released Saturn, whilst Nintendo released the last game console to make use of cartridges known as Nintendo 64.

In mid-2000’s Microsoft joined the gaming industry with their Xbox while Sega left the market, and is only-known today as a game console history. Up to these days, Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are contending against each other in order to provide us with full entertainment with sophisticated accessories and games.

Reasons For The PS3 Yellow Light Of Death

The following scenario is not uncommon for PS3 users: You are watching the newest Blu-ray or playing your favourite game and all of a sudden your screen switches of, your console system starts to beep and your console’s red light starts to blink.

Your attempt to start up the system again has no success, at first you see the green light as everything was normal, but it turns yellow, then red and your console starts to beep again. This is known as the PS3 yellow light of death often abbreviated as YLoD. This has been a major fear for most of PS3 owners.

The PS3 yellow light of death is a sign that indicates a hardware failure. The hardware failure can be caused by different factors such as heating and cooling element that bring about hardware malfunction or one of the capacitors or diode in the power supply has failed. But there are also factors like a broken Blu-ray drive, a failure of the hard drive or overheating resulting from dust in the console, that can cause this.

The PS3 yellow light of death appears when you power the system and it starts up normally for a few moments and then as opposed to booting, it starts off beeping 3 times while showing a faint yellow light, which afterwards becomes a red light.

It is hard to fix the PS3 yellow light of death and there are only three options available. Ensuring that your cable connections and the power supply are correctly connected is your primary option. The second option is to send your console to Sony for a repair. This is a good option for those whose warranty is still valid as those without are required to pay $150 for the repairs. The third option is to fix the error yourself or look out for a third party repairer.

The best option, of course, is to make sure that the PS3 yellow light of death doesn’t occur in the first place. The single most important thing is to keep your console as cool as possible and to prevent overheating by giving it time to cool down between playing sessions. The other important thing you can do is to ensure that the connections are correct and the system is dust free at all times.

If you already suffer from a PS3 yellow light of death and you want to fix your PS3 yourself, you can find a review of a D.I.Y. PS3 YLoD fix at http://www.ps3blinkingredlightfix.org.
